About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prospecting for new commercial business and maintaining a portfolio of existing clients
Discussing customer needs, problems, or complaints
Arranging for meetings between customers or prospective customers and representatives of various company functional areas
Providing consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers
Representing the organization in various civic and community functions
Assisting in the implementation and coordination of the companywide business development call program
Pre-qualifying clients for market segment
Working with strategic partners to identify cross sell opportunities
Documenting calls and results, and making reports to management as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent field; or equivalent work experience - Required
9+ years of lending and/or new business development in commercial banking - Required
Dealer Commercial Services experience - Required
Advanced proficiency in financial statement analysis, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow evaluation - Required
Willingness and flexibility to travel within the assigned territory as needed - Required
Proficiency in Microsoft office products including Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook and Word - Required
Expertise in complex contract negotiation and contract creation - Required
