About the role
- Responsible for the process administration, reporting, analysis, and documentation of assignments in the regulatory reporting area
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports
- Collaborates with internal business lines on data enhancement, requirements and reconciliation
- Participates in projects and process enhancements from end-to-end
- Improves the effectiveness of the reporting team by analyzing adjustments and/or enhancements to current reporting processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent field
- 3+ Years Relatable experience in accounting, financial reporting or auditing field
- 3+ Years Equivalent work experience
- Banking / other financial institution/industry experience is preferred
- Demonstrated competence of accounting practices and procedures, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving abilities required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Intermediate to Advanced experience with MS Excel required and technical experience a plus
- Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement through training
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant): - Preferred
