About the role

  • Oversee the Metrics and Reporting Center of Excellence and lead the Business Control Metrics and Reporting team.
  • Evaluate and improve the control environment and support risk evaluation across business components.
  • Identify, assess, and action various risks throughout the business.
  • Prepare aggregated Executive and Management level reporting of enterprise Business Control metrics.
  • Coordinate with Second Line of Defense teams for Committee level reporting.
  • Facilitate discussions on behalf of the FLoD with key stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience: Accounting, Business, Statistics, Risk Management, Information Systems, Finance, Economics or equivalent field.
  • 5+ years Risk Management, Internal Controls, Auditing, Credit Management, relevant line of business experience and/or legal or regulatory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and/or leading risk projects across multiple business lines offering a wide variety of financial services products and services.
  • Foundational understanding of the regulatory environment and how the products/services Santander Consumer engages in are viewed by the Second Line of Defense and Regulators.
  • Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.
