About the role
- Overseeing physical security and life safety programs for assigned facilities.
- Ensuring compliance with Santander policies, regulatory standards, and local fire and life safety codes.
- Managing contract security staff and critical security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms).
- Developing emergency response and security plans for corporate buildings, branches, and ATMs.
- Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and investigations related to threats, incidents, and criminal activity.
- Driving continuous improvement of security and safety initiatives to ensure a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Security management, Electronics, Technology or equivalent.
- 5+ Years Security experience required, preferably with exposure to building technologies supporting commercial real estate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated skills in managing vendor and solution/service providers.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities; manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.
- Flexibility with schedule and ability to work beyond regular business hours.
