About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute the actions set out in the Annual Audit Plan;
Prepare Work Programs for the areas to be audited;
Ensure that audit work covers the key processes of the audited area;
Ensure that audit activities are carried out in accordance with the work program;
Ensure that audits are performed in accordance with the Internal Audit Manual;
Hold regular status meetings on audit activities;
Keep the Superintendent responsible for Internal Audit informed of work progress;
Prepare reports on work performed;
Ensure reports highlight the most significant instances of non-compliance;
Submit reports for review and approval by the responsible Superintendent;
Participate in training to develop competencies and skills;
Present and discuss audit conclusions with the client;
Monitor time spent on various audit tasks;
Enter and keep audit management information updated in the system;
Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity as requested by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Accounting, Law, Management, Pharmacy, or other Health-related fields;
Postgraduate degree in Audit or a related area (Compliance, Management, Quality, Risk, Internal Controls, among others) preferred;
Knowledge of ACL Analytics or CaseWare IDEA preferred;
Experience with Power BI or Tableau;
Advanced Excel;
Full Microsoft Office Suite.
