About the role
- Monitor and support processes for assessing the regulatory impact on the institution’s business, aiming to understand the risks involved and the cost–benefit relationship of necessary process changes;
- Provide operational support in processes for identifying and assessing risks and internal controls by correlating data and information available in systems, internal processes, and/or external sources;
- Assist in compliance analyses between external regulations, internal standards, and corporate policies;
- Contribute to compliance risk monitoring processes by detecting deviations and tracking the implementation of mitigating actions;
- Support Due Diligence procedures at the institution (evaluation of suppliers and service providers) at Santa Casa BH, as well as corporate investigation procedures;
- Provide support in preparing and delivering trainings to employees, contractors, and suppliers on Compliance topics;
- Assist in disseminating Compliance and Integrity information and processes to the institution’s employees, suppliers, and service providers;
- Assist in preparing documents, reports, and routines related to Compliance and Integrity;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Compliance and Integrity Program initiatives by monitoring new legislation and market best practices;
- Assist and participate in Inquiry/Corporate Investigation processes, in accordance with applicable internal and external regulations and policies;
- Assist and participate in carrying out activities related to Internal Audit (operational, process, and administrative) when requested;
- Schedule meetings and help organize events promoted by the Management team;
- Answer incoming internal and external calls, transferring to the responsible person or taking messages if the person is not available in the department;
- Advise internal and external stakeholders on the Management department’s administrative matters;
- Attend to and guide external oversight bodies and carry out necessary follow-up actions, when required;
- Receive and log in the department’s protocol register all incoming documentation, supplier contracts, letters, résumés, official communications, and others;
- Type texts, articles, official letters, and other documents, as well as prepare spreadsheets as instructed;
- Deliver documents to other departments within Santa Casa when requested;
- Organize the Management team’s working papers and file documents;
- Participate in the preparation and review of documents related to the Management department’s Quality processes;
- Enter data into the management systems used by the department;
- Attend meetings, inspections, and visits to other areas of the institution and assist in preparing reports;
- Record observations, non-conformities, and recommendations relevant to other departments’ processes;
- Request internal services (IT, telephony, maintenance, etc.) when necessary;
- Perform other tasks of similar nature and level of complexity as requested by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Law, or Health/Hospital Management.
- Must be at least in the 4th semester.
