About the role

  • Lead regional operations: You will oversee the overall management of the business operations of our eye centers, including satellite centers, and manage the development of strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare reports for management: You will monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, patient satisfaction, and financial indicators.
  • Lead our local team: Your local team consists of Commercial Directors whom you will lead and develop.
  • Maintain close contact with physicians: Through regular interaction with senior physicians you will gain insight into current performance and potential issues.
  • Develop regional strategies and growth plans: You will formulate regional strategy plans aligned with Sanoptis' overarching objectives.
  • Take financial responsibility: You will ensure the monitoring of the clinics' financial performance.
  • Create and implement marketing strategies: Develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies to increase patient volumes, in close coordination with Sanoptis and the group's marketing team.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Health Management, or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive professional experience in a leadership role within healthcare, ideally in ophthalmology, clinic management, or operations.
  • Alternatively, advanced experience in strategic project management—e.g., gained through working in a management consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization and patient management.
  • Ability to handle challenges in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset, a hands-on approach, and a reliable, thorough, and precise working style.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in billing and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Business-fluent German and English (minimum C1).
