About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead forecasting activities for Sanofi’s Systemic Mastocytosis portfolio, initially AYVAKIT and later pipeline products
  • Develop accurate short- and long-range patient, volume, and revenue forecasts
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Market Access, Digital/IT, Launch Excellence, Marketing, Sales, Patient Support Services, Data Management, Analytics, and Global Forecasting teams
  • Coordinate forecast-cycle deliverables across therapeutic areas and functions
  • Provide end-of-month price/volume and demand/inventory analyses
  • Give monthly Commercial leadership updates on performance and near-term forecast outlook
  • Enhance forecast models for in-line and launch products
  • Partner with Market Research to design studies supplying forecast inputs
  • Incorporate gross-to-net and market-access assumptions, conduct payer-mix analyses, and generate price/volume waterfalls
  • Pressure-test forecast assumptions using analogue analyses and external forecasts
  • Align US forecast deliverables with Global guidance and aggregation processes
  • Deliver SKU-level forecasts for monthly supply-chain planning
  • Assess proposed initiatives and market-event risks and provide ad hoc analyses
  • Review key model inputs with data providers to maintain forecast accuracy
  • Coach junior team members on onboarding, upskilling, processes, and data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3+ years of experience in pharma/biotech analytics, forecasting, and/or market research
  • Equivalent consulting experience and/or advanced degrees may be considered
  • Strong business acumen
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data sources, including IQVIA patient-level data, syndicated reports, and specialty pharmacy data
  • Knowledge of payer/health insurance environment
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment with many cross-functional partners
  • Experience in Rare Disease, Oncology, or Hematology preferred
  • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining Excel-based forecast models preferred
  • Programming languages such as VBA, SQL, R, or Python
  • Proficiency with cloud-based data warehouse/analytics platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work comfortably with ambiguity
  • Track record of delivering exceptional results
  • Desire to learn and develop new skills
