About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute and operationalize the GBU's strategic planning decisions in line with the company’s strategic and financial planning calendar
Design and maintain GBU-level operational KPIs and metrics that support the execution of strategic objectives
Track the delivery of strategic initiatives and priorities against milestones
Help design and execute the operational governance framework
Own the operating model and ways of working of the Strategy & Operations function

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required
An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred
8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy and operations, or business management within a large, matrixed organization; biopharma experience is an advantage
A track record of owning planning cycles, performance management, and operational governance, and of running them with discipline and at pace
Experience coordinating budgets, headcount, and resources for a team or function
Skilled at translating senior leadership decisions into operational requirements and providing operational feasibility input on strategic initiatives.
