About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute and operationalize the GBU's strategic planning decisions in line with the company’s strategic and financial planning calendar
- Design and maintain GBU-level operational KPIs and metrics that support the execution of strategic objectives
- Track the delivery of strategic initiatives and priorities against milestones
- Help design and execute the operational governance framework
- Own the operating model and ways of working of the Strategy & Operations function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required
- An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, strategy and operations, or business management within a large, matrixed organization; biopharma experience is an advantage
- A track record of owning planning cycles, performance management, and operational governance, and of running them with discipline and at pace
- Experience coordinating budgets, headcount, and resources for a team or function
- Skilled at translating senior leadership decisions into operational requirements and providing operational feasibility input on strategic initiatives.
