About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead one or several late phase studies or lead an indication for a complex compound.
  • Provide high-quality input into study design, setup, and conduct and accountable for statistical aspects of the study.
  • Prepare statistical methods, contribute to result interpretation, and ensure statistical integrity in clinical study reports and publications; perform exploratory and ad-hoc analyses to support study or project objectives.
  • Plan, monitor and manage study activities, timelines to align practices in compliance with Sanofi SOPs and EGDS standards.
  • Mentor junior project team members and promote a culture of productive teamwork, quality, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Oversee execution of statistical analyses, coordinating with programmers as needed.
  • Develop productive collaboration with other functions in the aligned project team.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD in statistics or related discipline, with minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development
  • MS in statistics or related discipline, with minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical experience in clinical development
  • Broad knowledge and good understanding of advanced statistical concepts and techniques; being able to do advanced statistical analyses using SAS or R
  • Demonstrated strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience of participation to cross company &/or academia workings or special interest groups
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
