About the role

  • Oversee operational activities related to services provided by Scientific External Experts (SEE) and Health Care Organizations (HCO) during events.
  • Supervise Events & Engagements Specialists and own the end-to-end process for congresses, symposia, advisory boards, preceptorships, leadership meetings, and standalone meetings.
  • Manage external suppliers and communicate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring consistent company representation and full compliance.
  • Develop templates, training, and operational oversight to maintain and improve the end-to-end event & engagement process.
  • Lead teams to manage SEE relationships, enhance business value, and ensure consistency.
  • Assess risks, make strategic decisions, and efficiently resolve issues; serve as primary escalation point for complex SEE interactions.
  • Oversee compliance with laws, regulations, Fair Market Value requirements and partner with Legal, Finance, and Ethics & Business Integrity teams.
  • Spearhead process optimization, establish project timelines, KPI/SLA monitoring, quality controls, resource planning, and yearly budget management.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration, implement One Sanofi tools, and develop standardized documentation and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in event management & SEE engagement/contracting field, desirably in a highly regulated market.(Preferred)
  • Significant business experience in the healthcare industry.(Preferred)
  • Proven managerial skills, able to perform in a matrix organization.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Proven experience in engaging scientific experts and managing complex logistics.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Digital literacy and proficiency with relevant technologies (CRM platforms, event project management platforms, Transfer of Value capturing & reporting technology).
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
