About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish and continuously improve PMO governance frameworks, standardized methodologies, templates, and tools across the PSS portfolio
- Maintain a holistic view of the full project portfolio, ensuring appropriate prioritization, resource allocation, and capacity management across the team
- Act as the primary traffic controller for project assignments — balancing workload across the PM team based on portfolio demands and individual capacity
- Develop and deliver executive-level portfolio reporting, providing clear visibility into project health, risks, and strategic alignment
- Define and enforce escalation protocols, ensuring issues are surfaced and resolved at the appropriate level
- Drive continuous improvement in how the team plans, executes, and reports on projects
- Lead cross-functional project teams, driving alignment, accountability, and execution across diverse stakeholder groups
- Directly manage a team of Project Managers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- Build strong, trusted relationships with PSS leadership, franchise teams, and cross-functional partners across PSS
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of progressive project/program management experience or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience building or leading a PMO function, including governance design and portfolio management
- Strong pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry experience, preferably in patient services, commercial operations, or franchise operations
- Proven ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on project execution
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and communicating at the executive level
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed, global, and fast-paced environment.
