About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Directly supervise and coach a high-performing team of Account Executives focused on strategic channels and/or key accounts
  • Lead a specialized, high-impact team while remaining engaged in day-to-day execution
  • Align the team with department, functional, and company goals and guiding principles
  • Determine optimal paths to achieve and exceed objectives across diverse industries, sophisticated customers, and intricate workflows
  • Delegate responsibilities according to individual strengths, company policies, and best practices
  • Tailor coaching methods and evaluation criteria to individual team members
  • Oversee daily operations including productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, attendance, and call performance
  • Keep the team informed about product updates, process changes, customer insights, and organizational developments
  • Prepare performance evaluations and meet scheduled deadlines with team members
  • Partner with Outside Sales Channel Managers and Strategic Account Managers to support customer development, revenue growth, and market share
  • Provide input to Inside Sales leadership and execute initiatives shaping channel, strategic customer, and departmental direction
  • Monitor and evaluate Inside Sales policies, procedures, and systems to drive improvements
  • Participate in decisions guiding departmental direction
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4–6 years as an account manager, leading or supervising sales teams, or related experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel multiple times per year
  • Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams with strong engagement, morale, and retention
  • Skilled at implementing effective processes and procedures
  • Exceptional people-leadership and resource-management capabilities
  • High emotional intelligence, especially under pressure or in emotionally charged situations
  • Strong business acumen with understanding of how decisions impact profitability and growth
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Powerful verbal and written communication skills with adaptability and active listening
  • Exemplary attendance, punctuality, and reliability
  • Ability to work standard hours of 8:00–5:00 PST
  • Ability to sit for extended periods, work on a computer, and participate in virtual and in-person meetings
  • Ability to perform close visual computer work for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move 10–15 pounds
