About the role

  • Processing and reviewing of foreign subsidiary financial results in HFM for monthly reporting
  • Analysis of multiple foreign subsidiary management accounts and financial statements
  • Cluster financial consolidation including processing of consolidation journals
  • Compilation of financial statements in terms of IFRS and preparation of note disclosures
  • Ensure effective controls and procedures are in place
  • Interactions with internal and external auditors
  • Involvement and support for specific improvement projects
  • Co-ordination, planning & communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and contribute to a high-performing accounting team

Requirements

  • Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent
  • 0 to 4 years post qualification experience
  • Good working knowledge of IFRS principles and standards
  • Experience in the emerging markets environment will be an advantage
  • Oracle HFM experience will be an added advantage
  • Process management skills
  • Ability to speak French will be advantageous
