About the role
- Processing and reviewing of foreign subsidiary financial results in HFM for monthly reporting
- Analysis of multiple foreign subsidiary management accounts and financial statements
- Cluster financial consolidation including processing of consolidation journals
- Compilation of financial statements in terms of IFRS and preparation of note disclosures
- Ensure effective controls and procedures are in place
- Interactions with internal and external auditors
- Involvement and support for specific improvement projects
- Co-ordination, planning & communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and contribute to a high-performing accounting team
Requirements
- Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent
- 0 to 4 years post qualification experience
- Good working knowledge of IFRS principles and standards
- Experience in the emerging markets environment will be an advantage
- Oracle HFM experience will be an added advantage
- Process management skills
- Ability to speak French will be advantageous
