About the role
- Manage daily operational activities of the procurement function within the insurance environment
- Execute strategic sourcing plans and maintain vendor compliance
- Manage contract administration and support cost optimization initiatives
- Guide and mentor junior team members to ensure high standards of execution and adherence to policies
Requirements
- Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration or related field (essential)
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CIMA) advantageous
- Minimum 4-8 years’ experience in procurement and supply chain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience within financial services or insurance environment preferred
- Proven experience in vendor governance, contract management, and cost optimization
- Practical experience in contract administration, strategic sourcing execution, and vendor governance
- Exposure to procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., Searchlight, JDE, Oracle, SAP, Coupa)
