About the role

  • Evolve and steward the Sanity brand system across all channels
  • Lead creative strategy and execution for web properties, ads, emails, and offline strategies
  • Design and direct immersive brand experiences at events, including booth and stage visuals
  • Own visual and experiential design of the swag store
  • Oversee film efforts, from short documentary films to customer experience videos
  • Manage and grow a small team of in-house designers, freelancers, and agency partners
  • Implement creative operations: briefs, reviews, tooling, documentation, and processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, developer relations, and leadership to bring the Sanity story to life

Requirements

  • Based in: This role will be remote from the United States
  • 10+ years of design and creative leadership experience
  • Multidisciplinary portfolio spanning brand, digital, physical, and video work
  • Comfortable setting vision and executing in tools like Figma, Premiere, After Effects
  • Deep understanding of brand across web, marketing, and product
  • Experience building and managing high-performing creative teams
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and at speed; self-driven and owner-minded
  • Experience overseeing video and film production and managing producers
  • Experience collaborating closely with marketing, product, developer relations, and leadership
  • Bonus: experience designing for or within developer-first or design-first platforms
