About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise a team that manages all areas of general accounting including general ledger accounting
Lead the Company's financial close process, including preparation of internal financial statements and management reporting metrics and analysis
Continually evaluate opportunities to drive greater efficiencies in the accounting close process
Serve as point of contact with the Technical Accounting team, Treasury Team, FP&A Team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
Experience in management of the accounting function for multi-entity companies
Big 4 or other national or regional accounting firm experience preferred
Renewables industry experience preferred
Strong knowledge across range of finance and accounting functions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting with CPA license is a plus
