About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including CCNE-, ACEN-, or NLN CNEA-accredited programs
  • Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
  • Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications
  • Function within the legal scope of nursing practice
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred in some Sanford networks and required in Bismarck and certain Sioux Falls roles
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a team
  • Proactive mindset and desire to grow as a leader
  • Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions
  • Ability to learn new concepts, processes, and tools related to personal development and education
