About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform preliminary screening examinations and/or tests to facilitate diagnosis and treatment by the provider.
- Assist the physician with procedures and care of the patient.
- Collect subjective and objective ophthalmic data from the patient or caregiver and communicate this data to the doctor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School graduate is preferred.
- Will provide training and education for required skills.
- Previous health care experience or training in ophthalmology, optometry, and/or optical office preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
