Security Lead Educator

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enforces the organization's policies and procedures with all patients/residents, visitors, and staff.
- Patrols and secures facility buildings and grounds as assigned.
- Monitors conduct of visitors on premises.
- Responds to all requests for assistance from employees and visitors.
- Maintains records and prepares incident reports related to security activities.
- Conducts in-house training and oversees onboarding of new officers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- College or vocational education is preferred.
- Prior experience in healthcare security, contract security, and/or law enforcement is highly preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license (insurability dependent upon region).
- Advanced certification by International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety required within one year of hire.
