About the role
- Assesses clients/patients/residents and designs occupational therapy treatments
- Conducts evaluations and provides interventions for clients with functional, cognitive or behavioral impairments
- Develops therapy goals and administers appropriate occupational therapy programs
- Documents clients' information for evaluation and establishes therapeutic plans
Requirements
- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist
- Certified through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
