About the role
- Coordinate and oversee the development of projects;
- Coordinate and manage a multidisciplinary team, ensuring efficiency and quality;
- Maintain effective client relationships and review proposed solutions;
- Organize and monitor project schedules, also managing financial timelines and continuously evaluating results;
- Ensure the firm’s vision is clear and that all team members are engaged and aligned with team objectives;
- Make decisions regarding the alternatives to be followed;
- Assist in the preparation of Conceptual Design Studies and Analysis of Alternatives for defining treatment processes and equipment, as well as technical-economic feasibility studies;
- Analyze, size, diagnose and support projects for new wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs), including identifying issues and presenting engineering solutions with calculations/dimensioning;
- Prepare Technical Reports, Design Basis Reports (Memorial Descritivo) and Operation Manuals;
- Attend technical site visits, perform diagnostics and propose improvements for wastewater treatment plants;
- Conduct feasibility studies of new technologies and/or products aimed at optimizing Opex vs. Capex.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical or Civil Engineering;
- Postgraduate degree in Environmental Engineering, Sanitation or related fields;
- Specializations or relevant courses in Sanitation, Leadership and/or People Management;
- Preferred: Intermediate English;
- Advantage: Fluent English;
- Previous experience in the preparation of sanitation projects or related areas, with an emphasis on team coordination;
- Availability to work 40 hours per week;
- Knowledge of sector regulations related to water and sewage treatment, as well as compliance and legal best practices;
- Ability to perform complex technical analyses with a focus on project feasibility;
- Ability to lead, coordinate and motivate multidisciplinary teams;
- Critical perspective for implementing technological innovations and ensuring continuous improvement in projects;
- Commitment to quality, compliance and sustainable results.
