About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage Inrock client relations in the Southern region and other clients as needed
  • Manage all aspects of business development
  • Coordinate with the sales team to focus on growth areas and key clients
  • Develop sales strategies for identified accounts to generate new business and increase revenues
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Maintain contact with key customer decision-makers
  • Review project information and customer equipment configurations to recommend tooling solutions
  • Maintain knowledge of current and new products through interaction with engineering, guidance service, and operations personnel
  • Prepare sales or service presentations and contracts
  • Prepare quotes and sales orders for processing by operations personnel
  • Provide technical information and training to clients
  • Provide market analysis on growth opportunities with new clients, product lines, and partnerships
  • Attend trade shows and conferences as Inrock's representative
  • Prepare sales and call reports
  • Monitor and report HDD drilling activity in the region
  • Provide input on changing market conditions for marketing strategy
  • Travel within the assigned region to meet customers and visit customer projects
  • Establish sales plans and prioritize and schedule activities to meet targets
  • Report directly to the Inrock Regional Director
  • Work closely with the US operations manager to ensure necessary inventory for purchases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) industry
