About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support a broad range of HR and payroll activities.
  • Supporting payroll administration and coordinating with internal and external partners to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Administering employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, employee education, and vendor coordination.
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding activities and helping create a positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring accurate HR data and documentation.
  • Assisting with leave administration, accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
  • Helping ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Assisting with HR audits, reporting, and documentation.
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and company events.
  • Helping document and improve HR processes and procedures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience and education.
  • Experience supporting payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR operations.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Experience working with HR IS and payroll systems.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
