About the role
- Follow the global Enquiry to Quote process and business rules to create quotes for Customized products and MTO requests including finalizing order entry and advanced technical support when needed.
- Act as gatekeeper/dispatcher ensuring quality of incoming requests and assigning requests within the Global Engineered Solutions Quotation Team.
- Convert Salesman Request for Quote (SRFQ) into enquiries.
- Validate the Customized Solutions Sales Pipeline according to Business rules.
- Prepare official quotations, setting prices according to global Coromant pricing strategy.
- Provide simpler drawings, based on design templates. Make a judgement on the need for more complex design. Assigning design tasks to the Design Team.
- Collaborate with Coromant Supply function to receive supply quotes and drawings.
- Create and/or validate product data/material ID in SAP.
- Manage cases through Dynamics Case Management.
- Finalizing the order in SAP as needed.
- Working and communicating with SRT Design Team, Customer Service and Technical Dept, ensuring that both design and quotation timelines align with department KPI’s.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience of managing Enquiry to Quote is an added plus.
- Have the ability to create strong working relationships with internal and external staff.
- Proficiency in EBP, Fiori, EPLM, CAPP, Dynamics CRM (implied)
- Specific product application knowledge (Turning, Rotating, Holding, SRT etc.)
- Design Skills: Proficiency in designing tools can be a significant differential
