About the role

  • provide tangible and accessible support to Sandvik’s sales teams in the United States
  • support the preparation, approval and management of quotations, tenders and contracts
  • ensure compliance with Sandvik’s governance policies
  • review commercial documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness during preparation
  • issue accurate and compliant Order Acceptances in a timely manner
  • create, update, and maintain standardized templates for quotes, contracts, agreements, and schedules
  • stay current with global Sandvik Commercial, Legal, and Compliance guidelines
  • support the sales teams to ensure faster approval timelines and smoother submission processes
  • participate as required in customer negotiations
  • onboard new users, train and embed existing users in commercial management tools

Requirements

  • experience in, or the ability to learn, contract development from quotation/tender preparation through finalization
  • understanding of legal terms and conditions
  • outstanding written English
  • experience in development of new templates, processes, policies, or procedures would be highly regarded
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • team development skills
  • advanced computer skills (particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • excellent presentation skills (in-person and virtual)
  • ability to manage time effectively
  • experience working with Salesforce is preferred
