About the role

Lead the development and execution of AI strategy focused on internal process excellence
Build and guide a team of five AI specialists and shape the AI & Automation team from the ground up
Identify opportunities, design AI solutions and deliver measurable impact on business processes
Lead the design and deployment of AI solutions for automation and optimisation
Collaborate across IT, operations and business units to ensure adoption (work with Process Leads, Architects, Process Owners)
Monitor performance of AI solutions and adjust based on data and feedback
Stay ahead of AI trends and introduce new ideas
Report to the Chief Digital Officer and Head of Digital Business Capabilities; high-visibility leadership role

Strong foundation in AI, automation, and digital transformation
Experience leading cross-functional teams and building capabilities from the ground up
Experience building and guiding teams (role expects to build and guide a team of five AI specialists)
Advanced degree supporting technical expertise (An advanced degree backs your technical expertise)
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate large organisations
Hands-on leadership with ability to turn complex challenges into scalable solutions
Experience collaborating across IT, operations, Process Leads, Architects and Process Owners
Ability to design, deploy and monitor AI solutions for automation and optimization
Comfortable working in hybrid setup or fully remote within European working hours
