About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and execute category strategy for FDF (Finished Dosage Forms) / External Supply category at regional/global level
  • Translate global category strategies into actionable sourcing plans aligned with business priorities and supply continuity
  • Drive end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, qualification, negotiations, and contract execution within external manufacturing networks
  • Own and manage supplier relationships, including CMOs, ensuring performance management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement
  • Deliver measurable value through cost optimization, innovation, and efficiency improvements across assigned categories
  • Lead complex cross-functional projects involving supply chain, quality, regulatory, and technical stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain market intelligence on supplier landscape, industry trends, and risks impacting pharmaceutical supply
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience in pharmaceutical procurement, with strong exposure to FDF or Pharmaceutical Direct Material categories
  • Proven track record working with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sites, Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) and/or experience in Business Development & Licensing (BD&L)
  • Strong strategic sourcing and negotiation experience managing high-value, complex supply agreements
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains, regulatory environment, and quality requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage supplier performance and drive value through partnerships and innovation
  • Experience operating in global and cross-cultural environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to balance cost, quality, and supply risk in decision-making
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
  • Fluency in English
