About the role
- Serve as senior legal counsel and Chief of Staff for the legal function, providing strategic oversight and coordinating initiatives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
- Advise on corporate governance, board matters, and shareholder processes.
- Provide guidance on intellectual property and privacy matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and improve legal operations initiatives, working closely with contractors and external counsel.
- Identify legal risks and provide practical solutions for business teams.
- Manage multiple projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business objectives.
Requirements
- Law degree (J.D. or equivalent) and admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
- 7-12+ years of generalist experience across functions including corporate governance, M&A, commercial contracts, IP, privacy, and legal operations.
- Exposure to cross-border or multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
- Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Experience in SaaS or technology sector preferred.
- Privacy program experience preferred.
- Flexibility to coordinate with North America and EMEA teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Collaborative, independent, and decisive.
- Highly detailed and process oriented.
- Strong integrity and ethical standards.
