About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Active participation in Financial Due Diligence projects for company acquisitions and disposals on both buy-side and sell-side
- Support for vendor-assistance projects as well as the analysis and modeling of business plans
- Independent analysis of financial data and identification and presentation of key financial findings and drivers
- Preparation of FDD reports, financial factbooks and other transaction-relevant documents
- Taking responsibility for workstreams and supporting project leadership in coordinating clients, internal teams and external stakeholders
- Participation in client meetings, including preparation and follow-up
- Ongoing communication with clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in economics/business administration (Bachelor/Master), ideally with a finance focus
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence
- Preferably experience at a reputable audit firm or corporate finance advisory
- Solid knowledge of financial statement analysis and business management concepts
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Independent, structured and responsible working style
- High motivation and professional demeanor
- Strong team and communication skills
- Initial experience in independently managing workstreams or subprojects is an advantage
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
