About the role
- Own a defined Retail vertical territory (Chicago preferred; Remote).
- Build and close new business with enterprise retail and eCommerce organizations: big-box retailers, digital-first retailers, specialty stores, and QSRs.
- Drive multi-stakeholder sales cycles with executives in CX, Operations, Revenue.
- Navigate complex procurement, seasonal demand cycles, and global InfoSec requirements, ensuring trust in Sanas’ platform.
- Contribute to the vertical playbook—documenting sales motions, objection handling, and ROI proof points unique to Retail.
- Achieve $1.5M+ in new ARR annually, with a mix of direct contracts and BPO-led engagements.
- Maintain extraordinary Salesforce discipline and provide accurate forecasts, pipeline updates, and deal strategy reviews.
- Stay ahead of trends in omnichannel retail, digital commerce, and customer experience innovation.
- Report into senior leadership and build the Retail sales motion from the ground up.
Requirements
- 7+ years of enterprise SaaS/AI/technology sales experience with specific focus on Retail or eCommerce.
- Proven success selling contact center, CX, CCaaS, or operations technology into retail organizations.
- Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding $1.5M+ ARR quotas.
- Deep familiarity with retail enterprise buying cycles, seasonal planning, and procurement dynamics.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-stakeholder $500K+ ARR enterprise deals.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-suite stakeholders + personal Rolodex of influencers in Retail.
- High energy, self-starter mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-growth, category-creating environment.
- Desire to travel.
