About the role

  • Design and develop automation systems converting Slack/office-hour requests into structured support tickets
  • Build integrations such as Slack → Jira automation, routing, triage workflows, and lifecycle synchronization
  • Implement agentic workflows for automated context collection, triage, summarization, and recommendations
  • Build scalable APIs and event-driven pipelines
  • Ensure production readiness with retries, idempotency, monitoring, and failure handling
  • Add observability (logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts) to maintain reliability
  • Deliver high-quality, maintainable, and resilient production systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders through demos, documentation, and rapid iteration

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience
  • 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building production systems
  • 5+ years of coding experience in Java, Python, or Go
  • 5+ years building and shipping production-grade automation services
  • 5+ years of API development experience (REST/gRPC, authentication/authorization, versioning, documentation)
  • 5+ years working with event-driven architectures, retries/idempotency, rate limiting, and robust error handling
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, service boundaries, and data flow design
  • Experience or strong practical exposure to agentic workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, Orchestration frameworks, RAG patterns, Evaluation frameworks and guardrails.
