About the role
- Assist in the preparation of month-end financial and CO closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct examination and analysis of financial statements and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
- Perform financial variance analysis on logistics costs
- Communicate with branch managers and stakeholders about root causes and business insights
- Prepare warehouse and special project P&L reports to analyze detailed cost factors
- Assist in reviewing profitability for new business/contracts
- Deliver insightful financial reports and monitor financial KPIs for management
- Support budget control, investment planning, and cost center budget performance
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial forecasts and annual business planning and budgeting
- Provide support for regular business planning cycles and cross-functional collaboration
- Generate ad-hoc reports on financial metrics as required
- Facilitate communication between Regional Headquarters (US) and Headquarters (Korea)
- Drive cost improvement initiatives, create standard reporting, and lead headcount forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain or related field required
- Proven experience and knowledge in logistics field and cost elements involved
- Working experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budget management
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP CO Module)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
- Location: 3033 W. President George Bush Hwy, Suite 250, Plano, TX 75075 (Onsite)
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Logistics 3PL industry
- Preferred: Understanding of Logistics Business Operations
- Preferred: Knowledge of and work experience with SAP CO Module
