Bilingual Inside Sales Representative
SAMSON Controls Inc. CanadaBilingual Inside Sales Representative at SAMSON assisting sales managers with customer relationships. Supports sales activities and enhances customer satisfaction with a range of SAMSON products.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicates directly and proactively with internal and external customers and channel partners
- Manages customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction
- Supports sales activities including, but not limited to, proposals, presentations, follow-ups, and troubleshooting requests with team members to ensure customers receive the best solution
- Conducts lead management activities and qualifies companies within a defined region
- Tracks and manages all customer interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Promotes and educates clients on the SAMSON portfolio of products, services, and solutions
- Works toward adding SAMSON to customers' Approved Manufacturer Lists (AMLs)
- Attends internal and external sales meetings and events as required
- Follows up on all leads, proposals, and opportunities
- Attends webinars, meetings, and training as required
- Collaborates with the sales channel and regional sales team to enhance regional coverage
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary diploma or degree from an accredited college or university in business, engineering, or equivalent
- Ability to manage sales cycles ranging from 6 weeks to 2 years
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Strong computer skills, including advanced proficiency with MS Office
- Excellent customer service skills, with a high sense of urgency and effective task prioritization
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to occasionally manage high workloads and multitask in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to solve problems creatively and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- 3+ years of experience in industrial or process automation; customer service, inside sales, or technical sales experience is an asset
- Technical knowledge of valves, actuators, and other control components (preferred)
- Prior experience using a CRM to track all customer interactions (asset)
- Bilingualism (English and French) required
- Valid Canadian driver's license
