Regional Sales Manager
SAMSON Controls Inc. CanadaRegional Sales Manager at SAMSON handling sales activities and customer relationships in Ontario. Responsible for achieving sales targets and collaborating with multiple teams in process automation.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own all sales activities within the defined region of responsibility
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain existing and new customer relationships
- Generate sales growth for the complete SAMSON portfolio of products and services
- Hold face-to-face customer interactions and facilitate lunch and learns
- Resolve customer service issues and follow up on proposal activities
- Conduct Sales Meetings, Lunch & Learns, as required
- Provide technical support with documentation, drawings, customer training, site visits and demonstrations
- Collaborate with other regional sales managers, sales leadership, and other departments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience in Industrial or Process Automation sales
- Technical knowledge of Valves, Actuators, and other control components a preference
- Experience managing sales cycles between 6 weeks and 2 years
- Previous experience managing a defined region with direct accounts and sales channels
- Previous experience utilizing a CRM with all customer interactions
- An energetic self-starter with the desire to achieve challenging objectives and think outside of the box
- Advanced oral and written communication in English (French is an asset) with strong presentation skills
- Strong Customer Service orientation and skillset
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to deal with conflicts, setbacks and change
- Detail-oriented person with analytical ability and listening skills and an innovative problem-solver
- Strong MS Office knowledge and computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills to deal with occasional heavy workloads and multi-tasking
- Valid Canadian Drivers license
