About the role

  • Responsibility for the complete financial accounting of a branch — from accounts payable and accounts receivable to the general ledger and travel expense processing.
  • Ensuring smooth payment processing and accurate bank postings.
  • Actively contributing to and performing monthly and annual financial closings in accordance with HGB, and ensuring account reconciliations.
  • Preparing and supporting tax-related filings, in particular VAT returns.
  • Participating in exciting projects to digitize and optimize accounting processes.

Requirements

  • Practical experience: You bring relevant professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally with exposure to monthly or annual financial closings.
  • HGB proficiency: Your knowledge of accounting under the Handelsgesetzbuch (HGB) is current and reliable.
  • Language skills: A very good command of German (minimum C1) is essential for internal and external communication.
  • Digital affinity: You are proficient with MS Office and experienced in using common accounting software.
  • Navision experience desirable: Experience with Microsoft Navision is a plus but not mandatory — willingness to learn is important.
  • Personal attributes: You are a team-oriented and communicative individual who stands out through personal responsibility, accuracy, and a structured working style.
