About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the Americas Field Activation & Execution team, defining and executing the strategy for field-specific enablement needs.
Drive adoption of global skill programs across the field (roughly 70% of the team's focus), while addressing bespoke, sales-team-specific enablement needs (roughly 20%) and stakeholder engagement (roughly 10%).
Manage quarterly enablement & leadership team connects to align on business impact and emerging needs with sales leadership.
Provide structured feedback to the global program teams to ensure global programs meet specific field team needs.
Lead, coach, and develop your team of field enablement managers, building organizational depth and bench strength.
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara's operating principles as we scale our enablement programs globally and across new offices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of experience, including 7+ years in sales as a quota-carrying Account Executive or sales manager
Experience leading a field-facing enablement or sales operations team
Strong track record of driving adoption of programs across a distributed sales organization
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning field needs with global program teams
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence senior sales leaders.
