About the role
- Query, structure, and optimize data sets for analysis using SQL, Python, or other languages
- Create and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and summary visualizations to support decision-making
- Perform exploratory and actionable analyses to understand health of Sales Support and identify improvement opportunities
- Build analytical models to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes
- Translate business, product, and technical requirements into quantitative analysis and dashboards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Ops leaders, Sales, Customer Support, and Data Engineering
- Lead meetings with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather dashboard requirements and business priorities
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or relevant discipline
- Experience with data manipulation and processing in SQL
- Experience building data visualizations with Tableau or a similar, enterprise-grade Business Intelligence tool
- Formal studies in a quantitative discipline (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with CRM and ticketing tools (Zendesk and Salesforce preferred)
- Experience in a Sales Ops or Customer Support organization (preferred)
- Experience with B2B hardware and SaaS products (preferred)
- Experience partnering with leadership to solve business problems (preferred)
- Must reside in Mexico and be able to secure and maintain the legal right to work at the specified location
