About the role

  • Own the day-to-day execution and administration of global LOA programs across all regions
  • Manage the full lifecycle of leave cases (medical, parental, personal, statutory), ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject-matter expert for LOA processes, policies, and employee support
  • Partner with U.S. and Canada LOA administrators while maintaining global coordination and oversight
  • Ensure accurate leave tracking, documentation, and reporting across systems
  • Support accommodations, interactive processes, and return-to-work planning
  • Conduct regular LOA audits to ensure compliance, data integrity, and process consistency
  • Maintain and improve LOA processes and documentation to support scalability
  • Support administration of U.S. benefits programs (health & welfare, retirement, wellness), while partnering on benefits operations in international regions
  • Execute key compliance activities, including, 401(k) and FSA Non-Discrimination Testing (NDT), Form 5500 filings, Medicare Creditable Coverage, HIPAA notices and annual notices and regulatory requirements
  • Perform payroll and benefits audits to ensure accuracy and compliance across systems
  • Partner with brokers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations
  • Support open enrollment activities, including system testing, audits, and employee communications
  • Maintain working knowledge of international benefits programs and support coordination with regional vendors and stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on leave and benefits-related questions
  • Partner closely with Payroll, People Partners, Legal, and People Operations to ensure seamless execution
  • Help create and maintain clear employee-facing resources and communications
  • Ensure all programs are administered in compliance with applicable regulations (U.S. and international)
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and process documentation
  • Generate reports on leave activity, compliance metrics, and benefits operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of experience in benefits and/or leave of absence administration
  • Strong experience managing LOA programs, ideally across multiple regions or jurisdictions
  • Deep working knowledge of U.S. leave and benefits regulations (FMLA, ADA, ERISA, ACA)
  • Experience with compliance processes such as audits, NDT, or regulatory filings
  • Exposure to or experience supporting international benefits programs
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
