About the role
- Define and own the strategy and roadmap for product-led, self-serve growth across key lifecycle stages, including trials, purchase, expansion, and renewals.
- Research customer needs, business goals, market dynamics, and product usage data to identify high-impact opportunities and prioritize investments.
- Own delivery end-to-end, from discovery and definition through launch, iteration, and measurement.
- Partner deeply with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business Technology, and other GTM teams to align on goals, requirements, and execution.
- Work closely with engineering and design to build intuitive, scalable self-serve experiences that reduce friction and accelerate time-to-value.
- Integrate experimentation into the product development process, developing and running A/B tests and other experiments to improve conversion, adoption, retention, and revenue.
- Define and track success metrics for self-serve and product-led growth initiatives, using data to evaluate impact and guide trade-offs.
- Contribute to the evolution of Growth Product Management at Samsara, sharing best practices and helping scale effective growth processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in customer-facing product management.
- Proven ability to independently synthesize customer insights, data, and business needs into a clear product strategy and roadmap.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives end-to-end to ship products or features.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong product instincts and a keen eye for best-in-class user experiences, with the ability to simplify complex workflows.
- Solid analytical skills and comfort working with product and business metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly influence stakeholders and executives.
- Bias toward action and comfort operating hands-on in ambiguous problem spaces.
