About the role
- Build, own, and scale Sampl’s relationships with retailers
- Lead revenue, proposition development, and partnership growth
- Open new retailers, expand existing partnerships
- Position Sampl as a media and data solution for retailers
- Collaborate with sales, campaign, product, and commercial teams
- Define Sampl’s retail partnership strategy
- Build structured commercial plans for each retailer
- Own revenue targets for retail partnerships
- Lead commercial conversations
- Identify new commercial models
- Own and refine the retailer proposition
- Build enablement programmes for retailer sales teams
- Partner with internal teams to maximize conversion and delivery quality
- Run quarterly performance reviews and maintain accurate partnership metrics
Requirements
- Deep understanding of the UK FMCG retail landscape and retail media networks
- Knowledge of European and US FMCG retail and RMNs
- Agency or commercial background in media, retail, or partnerships
- Strong network across retail, agency, or media communities
- Experience in performance or data-led marketing channels
- Commercial acumen and proven success in building and scaling retailer partnerships
- Experience with Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, THG Beauty or similar (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience negotiating partnership or pilot agreements (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience launching or scaling retail propositions and internal enablement programmes (Nice-to-Have)
- FMCG, beauty, or consumer goods experience (Nice-to-Have)
