About the role
- Coordinate global procurement of commercial goods and services for our international projects
- Develop procurement strategies that leverage synergies
- Create project-specific contract appendices and policies and negotiate them with our partners
- Support sales in preparing proposals and developing optimal procurement strategies for projects, taking synergy opportunities into account
- Manage interfaces between Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Purchasing
- Prepare and conduct price and contract negotiations, including strategic preparation and subsequent contract management
- Drive supplier development in collaboration with Engineering and Sales
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Relevant professional experience, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering with knowledge of the relevant procurement markets
- Strong technical understanding
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills
- Team player with strong social skills and intercultural awareness
- Independent and goal-oriented working style
- Business fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel
