About the role
- Independent management of global letters of credit and documentary collection business (import/export)
- Processing and assessment of guarantees and bonds from banking and corporate-group environments
- Examination of incoming and outgoing documentary payments, including fees
- Collaboration with international financial institutions
- Ensuring compliant processing in accordance with ERA 600, ISBP, ERI 522, URDG 758, and internal guidelines
- Technical point of contact for business units on trade finance and international risk mitigation
- Contributing to the further development of trade finance processes
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, e.g., in banking, foreign trade, or industry
- Several years of professional experience in letters of credit and, ideally, in the guarantees business, with confident use of relevant rules and regulatory standards (ERA 600, ISBP, ERI 522)
- Very good German and business-fluent English, both written and spoken
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP S/4HANA
- High attention to detail, independent and solution-oriented working style, and strong team and service orientation
