About the role
- Independent handling of customer and supplier complaints using automotive industry methods (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Maintenance and further development of the local quality management system (process descriptions, work instructions, etc.)
- Support during audits by customers and certification bodies
- Further development and creation of FMEAs, PLP and similar documents
- Manufacturability assessments in response to customer inquiries
- Performing process capability studies / SPC analyses
- Carrying out sample submissions (PPAP, VDA)
- Planning and evaluation of tests
- Preparation of quality statistics and reports
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field; alternatively, technician with extensive professional experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive (supplier) industry
- Very good knowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA procedures; ideally qualified as a Quality Management Representative
- Very good MS Office skills
- Experience with APIS, qs-stat, Q-Studio and SAP is an advantage
- Good team and communication skills
- High level of autonomy
