About the role
- Conduct forecasting and planning processes, including liquidity planning
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS
- Perform variance analyses (plan vs. actual), including reporting to the corporate group
- Prepare decision papers and presentations for management
- Support the optimization of controlling processes and systems
- Prepare investment proposals and perform investment controlling
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and participate in projects
- Act as a point of contact for internal departments and external partners
- Monitor and control implemented measures
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling/Finance, or commercial training with relevant continuing education
- Initial professional experience in controlling desirable
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; ideally experience with SAP FI/CO
- Experience with accounting under IFRS and HGB
- Strong analytical skills and numerical affinity
- Independent, structured and proactive working style
- Strong communication skills, confident demeanor and team player
