About the role
- Technical leadership and management of the operational areas Antivirus (AV), Vulnerability Management, Security Operations Center (SOC), PKI and Privileged Access Management (PAM) with approximately ten employees
- Prioritization of tasks, incident responses and security incidents in coordination with the respective responsible parties
- Ensuring and further developing processes, policies and tools in the aforementioned areas
- Monitoring KPIs for performance, effectiveness and security compliance
- Responsibility for the governance framework and quality assurance of technical security measures
- Participation in projects to introduce new security solutions or to further develop existing architectures
- Close collaboration with Information Security Management, Compliance, IT operations and other stakeholders
- Coaching and professional support of staff in the security areas (training, knowledge transfer)
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, IT security or a comparable technical qualification with relevant further training
- Several years of experience in at least two of the following areas: AV, Vulnerability Management, SOC, PAM
- Demonstrable knowledge in Security Operations, Incident Handling and Threat Intelligence
- Experience with tools/platforms from the respective domains (e.g., SIEM, EDR/XDR, PAM solutions)
- Ability to present complex technical topics clearly and to communicate with cross-functional teams
- Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
- Strong analytical skills and a high sense of responsibility
- German language skills (spoken and written) as well as good English skills
