About the role
- Operating equipment such as strip pickling lines, strip shears and leveling/straightening machines
- Setting up, retooling and performing changeovers on machines
- Manual and visual inspection of strip during production
- Quality checks during the production process
- Maintenance and repair work
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking trade (e.g., process mechanic, industrial mechanic, machine and plant operator, metalcutting machinist, or similar)
- Professional experience in the metalworking industry
- Forklift and/or crane certificate advantageous
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Willingness to work, including shift and weekend work
