About the role

  • Analysis, design and customizing of SAP solutions with a focus on procurement processes
  • Development and management of SAP implementation projects
  • Functional and technical consulting and support for process owners and key users in optimizing and harmonizing SAP processes
  • Independent responsibility for project management within internal SAP projects
  • Planning, coordination and supervision of external service providers
  • Close collaboration and coordination with international users, teams, developers and consultants
  • Active management of incidents, requirements, projects and changes in the SAP context

Requirements

  • Degree in (business) informatics/computer science or a comparable IT qualification
  • Several years' experience implementing and consulting on SAP MM procurement processes in an S/4HANA environment, preferably in the international machinery and plant engineering sector
  • Strong end-to-end process understanding and comprehensive knowledge of related SAP modules (SD, FI, CO, PS, PP, GTS)
  • Practical experience in optimizing and automating processes, e.g., using ABAP, EDI, RPA
  • Confident in ABAP programming and debugging
  • Analytical mindset with a structured and self-reliant working style
  • Strong communication skills, team orientation and intercultural competence; willingness to travel up to 25%
  • High adaptability to change, self-motivation and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Business fluent German and English.
