About the role

  • Lead and develop the Environmental Services team across multiple sites.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and contractor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with NSQHS Standards, safety, and accreditation requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, People & Culture, Finance, and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to emergency situations with technical expertise and leadership

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification (Degree preferred) in Hospitality, Business Management or Administration
  • Food Safety Supervisors Certificate
  • Leadership role in healthcare or hospitality sector
  • Managing unionised workforce and change management processes
  • Multi-disciplinary team management including cleaning/housekeeping in hospital or healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of Victorian NSQHS Standards
  • Strategic planning and critical business project delivery
  • Strong financial literacy across multiple service line budgets
  • Infection Prevention and Control in healthcare settings
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and computer skills.
