About the role
- Lead the delivery of high-quality, holistic nursing care tailored to each resident’s individual needs
- Manage and support residents who exhibit heightened or challenging behaviours with empathy, professionalism, and evidence-based strategies
- Lead and mentor care staff to ensure a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal clinical and emotional outcomes

Requirements
- Hold a sound level of nursing skills and is easily identified as a role model of clinical competence
- Demonstrate clear knowledge of team function and ability to work and support a cohesive team
- Commitment to flexibility and innovation in practice including an evidence-based approach to care
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development
- Computer skills in Microsoft Outlook (or other e-mail system), Word, Excel and Internet skills to enable quality communication
